Group Therapy For Grief

Grief is often misunderstood and can feel isolating, even when others are supportive.

Grief after a significant loss can affect sleep, concentration, relationships, mood, and the ability to move through daily life. It often comes in waves and can feel unpredictable, isolating, or difficult to explain to others.

Foundations of Grief is an 8-week therapist-led group designed to help you understand these experiences and begin adjusting to life after loss in a structured, supportive setting.

Living with Loss is a 6-week continuation group for individuals who have completed Foundations of Grief.

This group aims to help you:

  • Understand common grief reactions

  • Reduce feelings of isolation

  • Make sense of the changes grief brings to daily life

  • Explore coping strategies that support functioning and stability

  • Connect with others experiencing similar losses

What to expect:

  • 8 weekly 60-minute sessions

  • Small group (6–8 participants)

  • Closed group (no new members after start)
